The Brand

The Cafexpress brand was the starting point of the business development.

I did not just want to slap a sticker on a coffee truck, jan says

We started with a concept of what the business would have to look and feel like and from there developed the van colours and logo first.

Logo

Logo was a designed by award winning creative designer Simon Wooller, an Australian living in Denmark. He sent us a rough logo drawing as an idea and we used that. We later realised it was meant to be refined. We did not and now have the greatest logo in our industry.

Van colours
           
Cecille Weldon from the the Banyan Tree creative services helped with concept and colours. We discussed the van colours for 3 months and in the end yellow won. Yellow is one of the most recognisable colour to the human eye. The black back section of the van came about as a background colour for Piazza d’Oro, our coffee supplier.

The logo and colours have been trademarked so can not be copied.
